О курсе

About the course

Currently, hydraulic fracturing is one of the most effective methods for increasing oil recovery of productive formations and liquid and gas inflow stimulation. The hydraulic fracturing method is to create a highly conductive fracture in the target formation to ensure the fluid inflow (gas, water, condensate, oil or a mixture of them) to the bottom-hole.
This course presents theoretical bases and key aspects of hydraulic fracturing, considers materials and equipment for hydraulic fracturing, complications that arise during hydraulic fracturing, safety instructions for operation, and much more.
This massive open online course is a training video lecture providing students with organized information about the main aspects of hydraulic fracturing, well servicing units, equipment and tools used for operation, hydraulic fracturing material control.
Each unit is provided with end-of-unit test to control the knowledge acquired by students.
